North America, 18th century, the third installment of the hugely successful series from Ubisoft. Assassin's Creed III is set against the backdrop of the American Revolutionary War in the late 18th century. It introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké: a descendant of the Mohawk Indian tribe. After adopting the civilian name Connor, he becomes a new voice calling for justice in the age-old war between the Assassins and the Templars. Players will become assassins in a war for freedom from ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid battles of the entire series to date. In Assassin's Creed III, players will travel through the beautiful and untamed countryside, through vibrant colonial towns, and to the chaotic battlefields where George Washington's American army faces off against the magnificent British army.
