Unity takes us to the once magnificent Paris, which is gripped by revolutionary terror in 1789. The title boasts a metropolis that will engulf you like never before. The streets of Paris are filled with crowds of starving citizens, ready to take up arms in the fight for freedom and equality. In this time of lawlessness and violence, the story of a young man named Arno, who has lost his loved ones, takes place and embarks on a deadly journey of redemption. Arno soon finds himself in the middle of a fight for the fate of an entire nation and becomes a Master Assassin.
Unity redefines the entire Assassin's Creed brand. This includes the core gameplay pillars that have accompanied the series since its inception: movement, stealth and combat. Players will find themselves in a breathtaking and accurately captured revolutionary Paris, which in its size corresponds to the area of the time. All thanks to the power of the new Anvil engine, which has been completely redesigned for the next generation of consoles. Assassin's Creed Unity gives players full control over the parkour system, a redesigned combat system for a richer combat experience, a new stealth and cover system and, last but not least, new techniques for manipulating the crowd. Players can develop their inner assassin by customizing weapons, equipment and outfits. There are also many specialized abilities to choose from, so everyone can develop their own playstyle.
The dense single-player campaign is complemented by a 4-player co-op mode, where players can work together to complete online story missions designed specifically for group play. The abilities and unique equipment acquired in the single-player mode will also be available in co-op.
