While it actually took twenty years for the old action classic to receive its remake, in the game itself only ten years have passed and the hero Nathan Spencer, once a secret government agent with a special bionic hand, finds himself in prison after a treacherous betrayal from within his own ranks. However, his execution was thwarted by an attack by the terrorist organization Biorain, against which the powerless government equipped Nathan with a new special hand and promised to clear his name if he prevents further detonations of experimental weapons. The main character has a bionic hand that can attach to any material except radioactive matter, so it can swing like on a rope or manipulate objects remotely (e.g. throwing a bus at a car). It is also able to project holograms for communication with the government department (mission assignment). In addition, there is the possibility of gradually adding the entire arm with found/purchased upgrades.
