Long ago, a terrifying discovery was made in the cursed city of Yharnam: blood therapy could end all suffering. But this healing power brought with it a terrifying plague that transformed the city's inhabitants into terrifying monsters. You must come to the city during the Night of the Hunt. Using the power of the Chalice, you and other hunters will enter the Catacombs of the Chalice, where together you will face terrifying bosses. But in the end, the one who collects the most blood will escape the nightmare...

In this game, 3 to 5 hunters enter the Catacombs of the Chalice together. They work together as a team, fighting monsters and collecting their blood echoes. However, you cannot trust your allies, as at the end of the game only one hunter will escape the nightmares of the Catacombs of the Chalice, and that hunter will win the game. You must watch your opponents for signs of betrayal and be ready to react at the right moment.

Each round you will delve deeper into the catacombs and uncover a new monster to fight. All players simultaneously secretly choose an action card - using powerful melee and ranged weapons, items or special actions, they try to defeat their enemies. If you wound an enemy, you will gain some of their blood, which is your key to victory.

During the game, you can acquire powerful upgrade cards. These cards will enhance your abilities in battle or thwart your opponents' plans as they plot in the increasingly dangerous depths of the catacombs.

But be careful! If your hunter dies in a monster attack, you will lose all your collected Blood Echoes. You must tactically choose which battles to avoid by escaping into the Hunter's Dream, where you can store your Blood Echoes and protect them for the rest of the game. However, if you do this, you will lose the loot from the missed battle.

Eventually, you will encounter the final boss in battle. This powerful and dangerous enemy must be defeated. Only then will the game end... and one hunter will be victorious!
