Description
Bound by Flame, the most ambitious RPG yet from Spiders Studios (Mars: War Logs, Of Orcs and Men), has launched its official website! Here you will find everything you need to know about the game, its gameplay mechanics, tactical and dynamic combat system, story background and characters, as well as the importance of the human/demon duality - a dilemma that the hero will face on his quest.
In Bound by Flame, you play as a mercenary possessed by a flame demon. As victims of demonic influence, players will have to choose between accepting the power offered by their host, or retaining their humanity and focusing on heroic qualities instead. Enemies and traps, increasingly terrifying and vicious, will tempt you to gain more abilities by selling a portion of your hero's soul to the demon. The progress of the demonic influence will be displayed on the hero's body.
Depending on the player's choices and demonic influence, some chapters will have a different scenario and offer a different experience, which adds to the game's replayability. The real-time combat is impressive and dynamic. If the player starts the game with only a basic knowledge of combat, fire magic and assassination, they will be able to specialize by unlocking and improving many abilities from 3 different development branches.
In Bound by Flame, players can customize their character to their liking. During the creation of their hero, they will be able to choose their gender and facial features. This will of course affect the hero's demonic influence. Bound by Flame also features a crafting system that allows them to create and upgrade equipment, including armor and weapons. Several companions will also join the player's quest, and depending on their actions, their relationships with them can develop into friendship, love, or hatred.
The bestiary of Bound by Flame is also vast. Players will have to face many impressive monsters: shadow dragons, lichens, undead, ice creatures... epic clashes await you around every corner. Which path will you take? Will you crave demonic power and magic to burn your enemies with fire, or will you prioritize combat skills and bravery?
