Bulletstorm takes place in a futuristic utopia, protected from civil war by the elite peacekeeping unit Dead Echo. However, a betrayal within their own ranks leaves two members of this feared formation on their own. The two mercenaries, Grayson and Ishi, are exiled to the deserted planet of Stygia, once a paradise but now teeming with hordes of mutants and gangs of flesh-eating monsters. They struggle to survive and have two goals in front of them: get off the planet and get revenge on the man who put them there. Players in the role of Gray use exaggerated combat tactics with what is guaranteed to be the most advanced weaponry ever seen in a first-person shooter. Each enemy presents a new opportunity for a stylish and even bloodier method of elimination. The characteristic system of hitting targets with the greatest possible precision guarantees an unrivaled frenetic gameplay, where players are rewarded for unleashing the most imaginative bloody carving possible. The crazier the hit, the more points they receive to upgrade and unlock weapons, with which they can come up with more sophisticated evasive maneuvers and even more absurd ways of hitting the enemy.
