Following the catastrophic events that the Avengers endured in New York, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, lives quietly in seclusion in Washington, D.C., trying to adapt to the modern world in Captain America: The First Avenger. But when his SHIELD colleague is attacked, he becomes entangled in a web of intrigue that threatens the entire world. Together with Black Widow, Captain America attempts to uncover an ever-expanding conspiracy, while at every turn he encounters professional assassins sent to silence him. When the true extent of the insidious plan is revealed, Captain America and Black Widow call on their ally Falcon for help.
