Dead Island combines first-person action with a focus on close combat, character development, and a wide range of weapon customization. All of this is then put to use in a gripping and gritty campaign that follows a dark story inspired by classic zombie films. The campaign can be played in co-op mode with up to 4 players.

Terror. Violence. Madness. Chaos. A vacation paradise turned upside down. A tropical island is transformed into a place of total chaos after a mysterious zombie outbreak. Cut off from the rest of the world, the player's only chance is to fight to the death and find a way to escape the island.

The story takes place in an open world tropical island, where hordes of various hungry zombies await the player. The player tries to complete various exciting tasks in the holiday paradise. Due to the lack of weapons and ammunition, the player must rely on the use of all possible found objects. From these, he will then make weapons for self-defense and try to succeed in intense face-to-face combat with zombies. There is a wide range of objects to be found, which over time will allow you to turn makeshift weapons into formidable instruments of destruction.
