Based on the true story of one of the most notorious scandals in American history, The Dirty Trick tells the story of top con artist Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), who, along with his equally cunning British partner and lover Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams), is forced to collaborate with FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper), who has gone completely out of control.
