Dixit Odyssey follows on from the successful game Dixit. If you like Dixit, then you will definitely appreciate the new addition. It is an expansion of the game, but it "works" on its own, you don't need the base. The box is cleverly designed so that you can have all the card sets from previous editions together. The cards are again large and excellently prepared, they represent small works of art. Whether you know Dixit or not, Odyssey is worth your attention and trying out.

What's new in Dixit Odyssey? First of all, it contains a new set of original and beautiful 84 playing cards. In terms of concept and fantasy, it surpasses the cards from the first expansion (Dixit II). This time, two artists participated in the graphics. This time, the cards were drawn by Pierô and colored by Marie Cardouat (she prepared the graphics for Dixit I and II). There is also a new game board for scoring and laying out cards for guessing. The voting method has also changed. Voting tokens have been replaced by scoring tables, which are clearer.

In addition to the new set of cards, these are mainly rules for a game with up to 12 players (party variant) and for a team game of pairs (for 6, 8, 10, 12 players). In the party variant for 6 to 12 players, the storyteller gives a "hint" without looking at his cards. The scoring method has also been modified. All players who have chosen the same card receive points. Those who are alone receive nothing. In addition, the storyteller also votes for a card for which no one receives points.
