A dark wave has swept through the city of Arba, and the monsters that have lived peacefully alongside humans are seized by a frenzied rage. As the hero Lucas or the heroine Aurora, you must join forces with your favorite companions from previous Dragon Quest games to banish the dark forces from the monsters and restore order.

Become a hero in incredibly massive battles. Cut through endless waves of monsters and fight gigantic opponents in epic clashes between good and evil.

Collect medals from defeated monsters to bring them back to the battlefield as your allies with special attacks. Up to 24 monsters can fight alongside you at once. And it's going to be a real melee!

Along the way, you can recruit a variety of favorite characters from previous Dragon Quest games to your party. Choose your companions and form an unbeatable four-man team.

You level up each hero in the game separately and can upgrade their unique spells and abilities. Only strategic switching between characters and the correct use of their abilities can win you the toughest battles.
