The story of the adventure JRPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes takes us to Allraan - a war-torn continent inhabited by a variety of different peoples, each with their own values. The rich history of the humans, sentient beasts, elves, and desert dwellers who share this part of the world has been shaped since time immemorial through the use of weapons and magical items known as "rune lenses."
The Galdean Empire has recently gained an upper hand over other nations with the discovery of technology that enhances the magic of lenses, and now it is searching the entire continent in an attempt to find a legendary artifact that would increase its power even further. It is on one such expedition that a young Imperial officer, Seign Kesling, a young man from a remote village belonging to the League of Nations, and Marisa, the guardian of the Rune Mounds who watches over the secrets of the world, meet and befriend.
