The story of Far Cry 3 puts you in the shoes of Jason, a loner who is trapped on a mysterious island cut off from civilization. His boat has sunk, his girlfriend has disappeared, and the island is teeming with modern pirates, drug dealers, and arms dealers. He carries a camera with him, which he uses to capture the madness around him. But he soon realizes that if he wants to survive, he will have no choice but to also reach for a gun and start killing in order to survive and save his girlfriend.
