Description
The continuation of the successful series and 15-year tradition of Gran Turismo on PlayStation 3.

The Gran Turismo 6 demo is currently available to download for free on PlayStation Store. The demo already includes Czech support and allows all players to participate in the GT Academy competition, which runs until July 29th. The GT6 demo itself will remain playable until August 31st.

If you want further confirmation that it's not wise to throw the PS3 in the trash with the announcement of the PlayStation 4, here it is. Polyphony Digital announced through Kazunori Yamauchi that the "old" console will see another Gran Turismo racing title, this time with a six in the name. The six logically means that everything will be bigger, better, more realistic... well, what you would expect from a game announcement. Especially a game of such importance as Gran Turismo 6.

The fact remains, however, that the game will feature all the cars and tracks found in Gran Turismo 5, plus a solid lineup of vintage and new cars, bringing the total to 1,200 cars at launch (which will be sometime towards the end of the year), with more to come. That's a solid portion of automotive madness. Players will also be able to create their own variations of racing cars through interchangeable parts.

There will of course be new tracks (like Silverstone). At launch, there will be seven new tracks out of the total of thirty-three (for a total of 71 different track variants, which is 19 new compared to GT5), and there will also be a revamped user interface that will ensure faster race recording. New tracks will be released every month via DLC.

The game engine will be improved compared to the previous game to meet the demands of modern gaming. The physics engine will also be overhauled, which includes new aerodynamic models, tires, etc. The GT Academy project will also return, this year on the largest scale ever - the selection of participants will take place through the GT6 demo in July.

The game will introduce a new tool for creating tracks, as well as a system that will allow you to organize your own championships and, consequently, join racing communities or clubs.

Community is the magic word these days, so expect Gran Turismo 6 to expand to all possible and impossible platforms, where the applications will keep you in touch with the game and its users. You can learn more about this on the game's homepage.
