Description
In 2048, the United Nations no longer fulfills its function as a supranational force maintaining peace and order in the world. In a world plunged into commerce, the multinational corporation Mantel has taken power, producing everything from food to clothing, electronics and vehicles to medicines. But insiders know that more than half of the company's investments go into what gives it real power - military research and development. The player takes on the role of one of Mantel's elite super soldiers, sent to suppress a rebellion. It is your first serious mission. What begins as a seemingly insignificant hunt for a few rebels somewhere in the jungle quickly escalates into a brutal guerrilla war comparable to Vietnam. The fighting moves to industrial zones and cities. It seems that the rebels are not indigenous rebels, but that they are actually a highly organized group with a clear goal of getting on Mantel's back. Your character will go through a wild evolution as you play, the pressure of circumstances will force you to question the concepts of good and evil - as well as your loyalty to your employer. The entire game takes place over three days and nights, which are designed to create an uninterrupted intense experience. The game never leaves the FPS perspective, so there are no cinematic cutscenes - you will see everything with your own eyes, as the creators felt that this was the best way to experience the story firsthand.
