Description
The Jawa 350 2x OHC is a famous motorcycle that played a significant role in road racing in the 1960s. It was powered by an air-cooled, four-stroke twin-cylinder engine with a displacement of 349.4 cc (bore and stroke 62x57.9 mm) and an output of 38.3 kW at 11,500 rpm. In 1961, it achieved its greatest success in the World Championship - factory riders F. Šťastný and G. Havel took 2nd and 3rd place in the overall classification of the 350 cc class behind the victorious G. Hocking on an MV-Agusta. The legendary F. Šťastný won the Grand Prix of Germany and Sweden that season. In the 1964 season, the 350 Jawa was introduced with a new engine with a four-valve single-cylinder head, in which the original six-speed gearbox remained unchanged, but the clutch was dry with steel plates with a layer of sintered material.
