Join Mario and his friends as they show off their sporting skills in soccer, tennis, golf, baseball and horse racing in Mario Sports Superstars, available for all Nintendo 3DS family devices. Players can compete alone in a wide variety of single-player tournaments for each sport, or compete against friends in local and online multiplayer.
FIVE FULL-VALUE SPORTS
With five full-fledged sports games, there's something for everyone in Mario Sports Superstars. Football fans will enjoy matches with eleven players on each side, and will need to fully master both team tactics and individual skills to dominate the field. Fans of the Mario Golf and Mario Tennis series will have a good idea of what awaits them on the green and clay courts here, under the direction of Camelot Software Planning.
MARIO BASEBALL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN EUROPE
Baseball enthusiasts will need to work on their batting and pitching techniques, as the first Mario Baseball title to be released in Europe in over a decade features the likes of Bowser and others who are planning to perform at their best.
HOORAY INTO THE SADDLE
In horse racing, jockeys must jump into the saddle, jump over obstacles and race across the finish line first if they want to win the championship. Collecting carrots scattered around the track will restore their horses' stamina, while collecting stars will allow them to use the special Star Dash technique, which will significantly increase their chances of victory. Players can also visit their favorite horses in Stable mode, caring for, feeding and grooming them, building a special bond with them and gaining additional benefits on the racetrack.
INVITE FRIENDS OR FAMILY
Each of the game’s five sports can be played in either single-player or local or online multiplayer. Single-player features tutorials and challenges where players can hone their skills before taking on a variety of tournaments for all skill levels. Multiplayer modes allow sports fans to test their skills against friends and family, both locally and online, or challenge players from around the world.
MARIO AND HIS FRIENDS ARE GOING TO PLAY SPORTS
Whether you prefer strength or precision, Mario Sports Superstars features 18 athletes, with 16 available from the start and 2 more to unlock by completing selected tournaments and challenges.
