The game adaptation of Pirates of the Caribbean is based on the last two films, while developing the fates of the main three heroes even further and not just blindly following the film script. However, there is a certain connection. The game is strictly linear and, apart from the occasional choice of several possible paths, the goal is always clearly visible and the game does not let you go anywhere other than forward.
