Description
Škoda 1203 - also known as the "twelve hundred three". The most widespread commercial vehicle produced in Vrchlabí in the years 1968-1981, when almost 70 thousand cars were produced. Then its production was moved to Slovakia, where the car was produced under the name TAZ at the Trnava Automobile Works. After almost 30 years, production returned to the Czech Republic, when the intellectual property was acquired in 1999 by the Ocelot company, which continued to produce cars until 2002.
Although it was said that whoever survived the transport in ambulance 1203 would survive everything, the reality was different. For their time, these vehicles were very well equipped and easily accessible to patients.
