Description
A model of the first modern Škoda car with a front-mounted engine and front-wheel drive. The Favorit was first presented to the public in 1987 at the engineering fair in Brno. It was a car that was created in cooperation with the Italian design company Bertone and the costs of its development amounted to more than two billion crowns. For this reason, Škoda was forced to look for a foreign partner, which in 1991 became the German concern Volkswagen.
