Have you ever wanted to become a submarine captain and navigator in one? The game Steel Diver will allow you to do so using the Nintendo 3DS console. At the beginning, you choose which submarine you will take to underwater battles, and then you just command the dive and go into action. Thanks to the 3D display, you can look forward to the best graphic processing of the underwater world that you have ever encountered on handheld consoles. There are three game modes - Mission, Periscope Strike and Steel Commander. In the first of them, your task will be to reach a given goal, but expect a number of obstacles and enemies who will try to sink you. In Periscope Strike mode, the Nintendo 3DS gyro sensor comes into play. Your task will be to find and sink enemy vessels. A rotating chair will be an ideal assistant; just turn 360 degrees and you will immediately have an overview of what is happening around you. Steel Commander mode will focus on tactics and strategy, you will have to hide your submarine and convoy, while at the same time revealing enemies. With download play, you get the option of playing Steel Commander mode with two players, with only one copy of the game required, the other player only needs a Nintendo 3DS without the game. Then you can share it between them.
