The game takes you into the magical world of The Golden Compass, created by the studio behind The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. It is a world where witches fly in the icy skies, giant armored bears defend their kingdoms, and the hideous Gobblers kidnap children into the icy wasteland. In this world full of ever-present danger and also amazing adventure, the heroine Lyra Belacqua sets out to save her loved ones. Her uncle, Lord Asriel, has been imprisoned and her best friend Roger has been kidnapped. On her journey, she is aided by the animal demon Pan, as well as the huge and powerful polar bear Iorek, and the mysterious Golden Compass – a truthful item that helps the whole group find the right path.
