The small town of Rose Creek is constantly threatened by a gang of crooks led by ruthless industrialist Bartholomew Boqua (Peter Sarsgaard), who will stop at nothing to make a profit. The desperate residents, led by Emma Cullen (Haley Bennett), decide to ask for help from seven men who, like Boqua, are lawless. A ragtag group of gunslingers, gamblers, and bounty hunters decide to protect the innocent and stop Boqua's actions. As they prepare for a decisive showdown, the seven hired mercenaries gradually realize that there is more at stake than money in this case.
