Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 is a highly customizable game that provides a tailored golf experience for both complete beginners and seasoned veterans. This year's sequel also features enhanced online features such as the highly integrated EA SPORTS GamerNet and an all-new online engine for simultaneous play.

Performance Coach – Tour pros have their own coaches, and now you can too. Tiger Woods’ current coach, Hank Haney, will be with you from the very beginning of your career, helping you improve your game with every round you play. Haney will continuously monitor your performance, assess your performance growth, and provide advice to help you improve your skills.

Tune your clubs for the perfect swing – With the brand new Club Tuner feature, you can individually adjust the settings of the wedges, irons, woods and drivers in your bag to get the most out of each club. But you will always have to strategically consider whether to give preference to a stronger or more maneuverable club. So be careful when setting individual parameters!

Dynamic Skills – The new Dynamic Skills feature eliminates the tedious process of leveling up your character from the very beginning. Your skill level will fluctuate based on your performance each round.

Expanded EA SPORTS GamerNet — Customize EA SPORTS GamerNet like never before. Earn points in any mode in Instant Challenges to advance your daily GamerNet leaderboard. These Instant Challenges—in terms of drive length and passing and putting accuracy—appear throughout each round and offer you the opportunity to earn additional GamerNet points as you play other modes.

New Online Mode – The game also features a new turn-based online mode called Simultaneous Play for up to 4 players, allowing everyone to complete the same round in the same amount of time as one. No more waiting for your friends to play their shot. The four of you play the same hole at the same time, while you watch your teammates’ ball flight paths. If you finish the hole first, you can switch to spectator mode and watch how others are doing.

New Courses and Golfers – New challenges await you in new exotic locations. The extensive list of courses includes South Africa’s Gary Player Country Club, England’s Wentworth Country Club, China’s Sheshan Golf Club, Nevada’s Wolf Creek and Florida’s Bay Hill Country Club.
