Players will choose a team to compete with on all console platforms in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 to win the Ryder Cup, one of the last major sporting events where prestige is more important than money. Players will be able to build an American or European team and compete in a variety of formats, including foursomes, where players take turns playing individual shots in pairs, and fourballs and singles, which traditionally conclude the tournament, held every two years. When playing the Ryder Cup offline, players will be able to enter individual matches and have a major influence on how they end.

In addition to participating in team competitions, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players will be able to take their teams online*. For the first time in the series, this all-new mode will allow up to 24 players to compete against each other in teams, with members able to discuss strategic aspects of the game via Xbox LIVE or PlayStation Network.
