You can choose everything regarding the appearance and equipment for your user-created player, and as you progress through the game you also get new clothing and other accessories. You will test your golfing skills on more than a dozen courses, including both real places and two locations created for the needs of the game and, consequently, for the player's enjoyment. Among the real ones, we can mention the elite Pebble Beach, The Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Colonial Country Club, Spyglass Hill and others. You will gain fame in the expanded Career mode, or in online tournaments against a live player. The standalone gameplay, new sounds, musical accompaniment and, of course, improved graphics have also seen a certain shift.
