The next sequel to the successful tactical action, in which you play the role of a member of the special R6 unit, which this time takes you to the glittering streets of the American center of sin, Las Vegas. The city full of natives, stars of the entertainment industry and, above all, tourists is facing the threat of terrorists, who must be stopped unconditionally and as quickly as possible.
This time, the development was taken over by the members of the last really good R6 title, Rainbow Six 3: Rogue Spear. This in itself means that you should prepare for less headless action, but rather a slower tactical game, in which you will participate as the commander of a three-member R6 team, Logan Keller, who will give orders to his two comrades, Michael Walter and Jung Park. Each member of the strike team is an expert in something different. Although the player, as a proper commander, must control more or less everything, Michael Walter is an expert in heavy weapons and explosives, and Jung Park in turn in electronics and long-range weapons.
With new characters comes a new style of play. Tactics and cooperation between team members play an important role, as they provide each other with in-game advice on how to proceed. For example, you can expect Park to warn you about the possibility of a computer hack, while Walter will remind you when there is an opportunity to create an alternative entrance with the help of explosives. The game is not interrupted by any static briefings, all decisions are made in real time, when you need to decide where your team will attack the terrorists based on the available information and what tactics and weapons to choose.
The creators also praise the artificial intelligence, thanks to which the terrorists cooperate, share information, hide, and do everything to neutralize you and your team. As for the technical side of the game, the game offers a brand new next-gen engine, as well as motion capture animations shot with the help of leading Hollywood stuntmen. The new technology is also powered by the multiplayer part, in which you can create your own character and gradually unlock new equipment through successes in online battles.
