As Mii characters, they come to life with their own voices and personalities – all on one wild and hilarious island where you’re constantly discovering something new. The real emotional bond you already share with your characters will keep you glued to the drama, intrigue, and hilarity that comes from their extraordinary daily lives, which often unfold in unpredictable and turbulent ways.

The Tomodachi brand has already taken Japan by storm, selling over 5.5 million games*. The first European title, Tomodachi Life, is out on June 6th. The word “Tomodachi” is Japanese for “buddy.” After completely customizing all of your Mii characters (or just scanning them into the game with a QR code), you’ll instantly recognize their unique vocal characteristics, demeanor, and quirks. But you never know what they’ll do. For the first time ever, Mii characters will act based on your chosen personality traits, creating life situations that you set in motion. A pop star could fall in love with your character. Your mom could jump on stage and belt out some heavy metal songs. Or you could find fame as an announcer creating the most interesting reports on live TV. Best of all, you can document these incredible moments for posterity and share them with all your friends via the Nintendo 3DS Image Share service.

The plot of Tomodachi Life thickens with the addition of each new character. After a fistfight or a minor scuffle, you can reward the characters with gifts, clothes, their favorite food, or a special gift for their apartments. Expand Tomodachi Life with a wide variety of facilities on the island. Solve the characters' problems or simply help them with what they need.
