The story of the White Day game series begins on March 15, 1998, with a fire in a home economics classroom that kills a young student, Kim Sung-ah. Her death is not the first, let alone the last, in a long line of suspicious deaths that have occurred at the school, which will be joined in the following years by the suicide of Han Na-young, Kim Sung-ah's best friend. Three years later, on March 13, 2001, Lee Hee-min, a student who recently graduated from Yeondu, sneaks into the school late at night to leave a gift for his classmate Han So-young in the classroom for the popular Korean holiday "White Day". Han So-young is none other than Han Na-young's younger sister, who hanged herself at school three years earlier. His secret visit triggers a series of terrifying events that result in a massive fire that severely damages the school.
However, the very next night, March 14, 2001, four people enter the school independently, eager to find answers to questions that have haunted them for years. And this is where the story of the horror film White Day 2: The Flower That Tells Lies begins, divided into three interconnected episodes.
In the first episode, you play as former Yeondu student Jung Soo-jin, trying to prove that you had nothing to do with the death of Kim Sung-ah, your former love rival, in order to regain the trust of Jang Sung-tae, who didn't return your feelings at school because he secretly loved Kim Sung-ah. But what will you do when you uncover an even more terrifying secret together in a destroyed building and both become the latest prey in the next installment of a relentless supernatural hunt?
In the second episode, you play as young teacher Kang Seo-yeon, a graduate of Yeondu, as you try to shed light on the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of your father, a former Korean language teacher from the local school, who allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the roof of the school building. Can you use your knowledge of the occult to reverse an ancient dark ritual while escaping the clutches of a powerful, malevolent spirit that is inexorably drawn to you?
In the third episode, you play as first-year Yeondu student Yoo Ji-min, trying to find a way to fulfill her promise and bring peace to the troubled soul of Han Na-young, whose younger sister Han So-young you admire so much. Can you delve deep enough into the school's tragic past, unravel the tangled relationships of its students, and lift the veil of its deadly secrets once and for all?
• Return to Yeondu High School: Explore the school with a flashlight in hand and revisit familiar locations to uncover more sinister secrets, find more items, and discover new, previously hidden areas.

• Survive chilling ghost encounters: Face the twisted manifestations of the school's tragic past fearlessly. Explore and document the building's haunted locations with your camera, trying to learn more about the disturbing origins of each ghost.
• Take advantage of branching episodes: Experience the story of the central characters from multiple perspectives. Learn from your mistakes, return to previously completed episodes, and discover new, alternative paths leading to a total of fourteen possible endings.
• Solve intricate puzzles: Search for clues and key items to help you solve complex logic challenges and escape locked rooms. Then, solve cleverly hidden puzzles to unlock new story paths and alternate endings.
The complete edition contains all three interconnected parts of this originally episodic game, plus a package of all bonus DLC, bringing seven additional costumes - a traditional Korean hanbok costume for playable characters and a tracksuit for the night watchmen, which in the first part were worn by the janitors mercilessly chasing players through the darkened school.
