Afterimage is a hand-drawn 2D action-adventure game, emphasizing fast-paced combat, free character development, non-linear levels, and a gripping story set in a ravaged fantasy world. Years after a cataclysmic event called “The Extinction” by survivors nearly ended human civilization, a girl suffering from amnesia awakens amidst the ruins of the capital. Her name is Renee, and in order to regain her lost memories, she embarks on a journey to rescue her mentor. Unknowingly, she sets in motion events that will decide the fate of the new world.
