The Lutetian Eagle, the precious golden emblem of the Roman legions, has been stolen and the Romans have imprisoned an innocent man! Asterix promises to investigate the matter and, together with Obelix, immediately sets off to Lutetia to obtain more information from an acquaintance who is known to be intimately informed about everything that is going on in the city. But it is clear that without a good dose of slaps, our Gallic heroes will not get the answers they need on their long journey to justice...
Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 is a slap-smashing game with a brand new story, during which you will visit a variety of different locations - from forgotten ruins in a dark forest to the largest Roman camp of all time to Lutetia itself. Your journey towards distant lands offering diverse environments will be punctuated by numerous clashes with enemies and, of course, a generous dose of slaps. All this is accompanied by original animated sequences that tell the story.
You can also look forward to improved battles offering a larger number of enemies and bosses, as well as many new features and gameplay improvements. In addition to new unique attacks that Asterix and Obelix can gradually "charge" during more dynamic and fluid battles, both can also enter a rage mode, increasing their strength, or perform a so-called ultimate attack. The famous cherry on the wild boar is the ability to destroy selected elements of the environment or throw barrels and menhirs at enemies. The Romans and all other enemies should therefore be very careful!
