Set in the DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE universe, DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS pits a team of seven survivors against a single Raider. The Raider, one of the series' main villains, will have to use his overwhelming strength to hunt down and defeat the survivors.

The survivors are ordinary civilians who have been caught in a "Time Seam" and trapped in a place where space and time are out of whack. The survivors' main goal is to escape using various gadgets, the most valuable of which are Transpheres, which contain the souls of Super Warriors and grant special abilities and powers when used.

In this dangerous environment that the survivors share with the Raider, the hope is to use the Super Time Machine to escape the time seam before their enemy becomes unstoppable.
