Garmin Forerunner 645 is equipped with a built-in barometric altimeter with more accurate measurement of altitude, vertical speed and elevation. There is a WiFi wireless connection, as well as the possibility of connecting ANT+ and Bluetooth external heart rate, cadence or speed sensors. Of course, there is the possibility of preparing training plans, evaluating aerobic and anaerobic training effect, automatic measurement of VO2Max, lactate threshold, all-day measurement of stress score or, for example, recommended rest periods.

Battery life
The Forerunner 645 offers very decent battery life. On a single charge, it can work for up to 1 week in smartwatch mode, up to 12 hours of training with full GPS on, or up to 5 hours of training with GPS and music player on at the same time.

Garmin Connect training log
Garmin Connect is an online training diary that stores, evaluates and possibly shares records of sports activities. It is either accessible from a computer (PC, iOS) on the website or as a mobile application Garmin Connect Mobile for smartphones and tablets with the operating system iOS, Android or Windows Mobile. Garmin Connect, which is available fully in Czech, can evaluate most outdoor or indoor sports and not only display GPS activity records above the map, but also combine records of the altitude profile, pace, heart rate, speed and a whole range of other quantities. You can send any records to friends via email or a simple link or simply share them via social networks.
