Ghostbusters: The Video Game - Remastered brings improvements to the original game from 2009. Textures, lights and all cutscenes will receive modern processing and the resolution will climb up to 4K.

The original characters and everything about the game will remain the same. So the original script, which was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, the writers of the Ghostbusters film scripts, should also remain.

The plot of Ghostbusters: The Video Game revolves around a rookie team of tamers who work with characters from the original film. Unlike many other video game adaptations, they are similar and even voiced by the original actors. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and the now-deceased Harold Ramis will return.
