The mutant known as Logan, a former CIA agent chosen for his healing abilities that allowed him to survive an experiment, endures immense stress after his body was exposed to molten metal injections into his bones and unleashes his rage. Breaking, tearing and twisting as he steps on the devices and equipment used in his torturous transformation, Logan is still covered in connectors attached to his body for the injections, along with various other devices strapped to him by wires and cables. With long hair and newly metal-coated, unbreakable claws, the ferocious Logan is out for revenge on his tormentors and freedom from captivity. Iron Studios proudly presents the "Weapon X (Wolverine 50th Anniversary) - Marvel Comics - Art Scale 1/10" statue, which captures one of the most iconic moments of the most beloved X-Men. This statue also features an interchangeable head, allowing you to display it with or without the helmet used during his transformation! Weapon X was the code name for a secret government project aimed at obtaining superpowers for military purposes. The *Weapon X* series, inspired by the comic book story written and illustrated by Barry Windsor-Smith, begins with Logan being captured and prepared for the process of bonding with the metal Adamantium. Along with his assistants, Dr. Cornelius and former NASA agent Carol Hines, they erase the mutant's memories and coat his skeleton and claws with a fictional metal known in the Marvel Universe as the hardest substance on Earth, with the goal of turning him into a savage, soulless killing machine. Other surgical modifications included silicone casings around his claws and silicone sleeves through which the claws protrude. Logan was treated not as a person, but as a mere subject, with his humanity almost erased. His internal struggle against his mental programming, coupled with the trauma of the adamantine bond, brought out Logan's animal side, allowing him to break free and escape after killing the soldiers guarding the experiment. Other agents who were part of the Weapon X program, such as Sabretooth, Maverick, and Silver Fox, also received implanted memories. Created in 1974 by Len Wein, John Romita and Herb Trimpe, Iron Studios is preparing this release to celebrate Wolverine's 50th anniversary as part of a commemorative series showcasing iconic moments from the hero's illustrious history. This includes the already revealed "Old Man Logan (Wolverine 50th Anniversary) - Marvel Comics - Art Scale 1/10" and "Wolverine Unleashed - Wolverine 50th Anniversary - Deluxe Art Scale 1/10", with more exciting announcements to come. Originally appearing as a sidekick to the Incredible Hulk, Wolverine has become one of the most beloved and revered superheroes in the Marvel Universe thanks to his popularity and success in the X-Men and his solo adventures.
