Jagged Alliance: Back in Action is the latest installment in the popular turn-based military strategy series.

The entire game has been completely redesigned to offer a truly modern gaming experience - improved isometric 3D rendering and interface, detailed character models and, last but not least, a host of new gameplay options. Back in Action takes you to the fictional country of Arulco, where a ruthless dictator has taken over the government, with only a handful of rebels daring to stand up to him. Your mission is to liberate the island from his iron fist, using a squad of rebels and various mercenaries to do so.

You must use tactical, diplomatic, and economic tools to ensure your people are adequately supplied and always prepared for the fierce battles you will lead them into. The game also features an unusual plan-and-go combat system that combines elements of real-time strategy with turn-based strategy.

This means that you will be able to use tactics much better in battles, making the game more dynamic and exciting. As a commander, you must not only master the strategy and tactics of combat, but also maximize the abilities of your team through RPG-style character development.
