Persona returns to consoles after a long 8-year hiatus. You can look forward to traditional JRPG gameplay, thrilling action sequences, anime cinematics, and a fresh soundtrack by Shoji Meguro.

The fifth installment will take place in Tokyo and the main theme will be the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students.

LIFE OF A SCHOOLCHILD

Persona 5 is about the internal and external conflicts within a group of troubled young people who live double lives. During the day, they are typical, ordinary Tokyo high school students who attend classes, have extracurricular activities after school, or earn extra money by working part-time jobs.

AND HEROES

In the evening, however, they experience completely different, fantastic adventures. They have acquired abilities from other worlds and can enter people's hearts. This power comes from the Persona, from the so-called Jungian concept of oneself, one's "self". The heroes of the game must realize that society actually forces people to wear masks in order to protect their inner vulnerability. Knowing all this, they literally rob others of their protective masks and allow them to confront themselves with their inner selves.
