Shining metropolis

Lumiose City is undergoing a major transformation to become a place where Pokémon and humans can live side by side. Shortly after arriving in the city, you will be able to choose one of the following Pokémon to accompany you on your journey – Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile.

Together, you can explore the streets of this sprawling city or visit Wild Zones, where you'll encounter wild Pokémon. To catch them, aim carefully and throw a Poké Ball, or pounce on them with the help of other Pokémon on your team.

New, dynamic battles

For the first time ever, Trainers and their Pokémon will move in real time during battles. Pokémon can demonstrate their attacks while Trainers give them instructions.
