Capcom has prepared a remake of the best part of the Resident Evil series, which returns in the best possible form.

Resident Evil 2 Remake was created from scratch, following the original 1998 game. The game was developed using the Resident Evil VII engine, which gave the developers more options. The static camera was replaced by a full third-person view and explorable atmospheric environments. The game features significantly improved visuals and new animations.

Resident Evil 2 brings back the classic gameplay elements that defined the Resident Evil franchise - classic action, intense exploration, puzzle-solving and more. Players join Leon Kennedy, a rookie cop, and Claire Redfield, a college student, as they are bound together by the catastrophic events in Raccoon City that have transformed the city's population into deadly zombies. Both Leon and Claire have their own separate playable campaigns in the game, allowing players to see the story from a different perspective.
