Resident Evil 7 returns to its horror roots and aims to bring a fresh dose of spooky terror to the genre. The game will take place after the events of the sixth installment on a rural American farm in Louisiana, where you will explore the secrets and horrors of a vast estate. The PlayStation 4 version will also be playable in its entirety using the PlayStation VR headset, with the content of both versions expected to be completely identical.

HORROR HOUSE
Set on an eerily quiet plantation in the small town of Dulvey, Louisiana, the game introduces the Baker family, including the seemingly missing Jack and Marguerite. No one has heard from them in a long time, and so rumors and speculation begin to arise about what happened at their family homestead.

A DISTURBINGLY REALISTIC EXPERIENCE
The seventh Resi comes to the series for the first time with a first-person perspective. The traditional gameplay combining exploration, puzzles, action and a terrifying atmosphere remains exactly the same as it was twenty years ago. But this time in an uncomfortably realistic and personal version that will give you goosebumps even in places you had no idea existed.

RETURN TO ROOTS
In addition to the dense atmosphere and puzzles, the classic inventory with a limited number of slots is also back. So you have to think carefully about what you will carry with you. Don't forget the green herbs! They will be more than useful when exploring dark corridors and hidden corners.

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN
A frightened young woman, apparently named Mia, has been appearing irregularly on the plantation. Who is she? Why has Marguerite Baker kidnapped her?
