The game is online only, it does not contain a singleplayer campaign.

Rainbow Six Extraction is being developed by an all-new team at Ubisoft Montreal, inspired by the long-standing tradition and legacy of cooperative tactical shooters and the wide range of Operators from Rainbow Six Siege, but not content with just a new iteration of the game, they want to create a brand new experience. Following the events of the Outbreak event in Siege, a vision for a radically redesigned new vision for the series was born. This time, teams of Operators will face off against an alien threat!

NEW ENEMY
Operators will face a completely new type of enemy - a mutated alien parasite. It attacks humans and their surroundings, and the enemies have never been more deadly and difficult than now. Extraction will bring all-new chaotic missions, unpredictable and risky at every turn.

TEAM OF ELITE RAINBOW SIX OPERATORS
There are 18 operators to choose from, with up to three players in a co-op team or solo play. Each operator offers a unique set of weapons and skills that can be upgraded through a brand new experience system.
