The third installment in the Trine series of fairy-tale platform games from Finnish developers Frozenbyte.

While the first two parts were only 2.5D (the graphics were modeled in 3D, but you could only move along two axes), The Artifacts of Power is fully 3D.

Apart from this change, the game is still the same platformer with logic elements, where you control three characters with different abilities - a wizard who can create boxes and move objects telepathically, a knight with a sword, hammer and shield, and a thief with a bow who can use a rope to pull herself to different platforms.

The trio of main characters - wizard Amadeus, knight Pontius and thief Zoya - are fed up with the fact that their lives are being controlled by the magical artifact Trine, so they decide to try to return the extraordinary abilities it gave them and finally get rid of it. However, they fail and the artifact releases an ancient evil wizard, so they must once again set out on a quest to save the world...

The game can once again be played in three-player co-op, both locally and online. In addition to the campaign, the game also includes single-character bonus levels that contain more difficult puzzles than the base game.
