In the year 3174, with all resources depleted and ecosystems destroyed by meteors, humanity is divided between those who escaped Earth and settled in the space colony Orbital Arc and those who remained on Earth and settled in the Shelter facility. When all supplies flowing from Shelter to the Orbital Arc stop flowing, humanity begins to experiment to find its last hope. Age, a young swordsman, falls from the Orbital Arc to Earth and sets out on a journey with his android Helvis to find the key to humanity's survival.
