A board game based on the popular computer strategy game about building a zoo.
Have you ever dreamed of running your own zoo? Make your dream come true with the board game: Zoo Tycoon! Build a zoo where you can care for beloved animals like lions, gorillas, and elephants, and attract and delight visitors. Or partner with national parks to protect nature and reintroduce endangered species to the wild. With 35 different animal species (most of which come with 236 beautiful animal figurines to choose from), you have plenty of options to choose from.
With your "zoo in a box," you can watch the zoo of your dreams become a reality right before your eyes!

Goal of the game
In the board game Zoo Tycoon, you start as the new managers of four city parks. The city is looking to redevelop these parks and hopes that adding animals will make these green spaces more attractive to the public. In order for the project to be accepted from a policy perspective, zoos must be financially self-sufficient and contribute to nature conservation. After the first evaluation (7 years after opening), the management of all newly established zoos will be centralized. Whoever manages these seven years most successfully can rightfully expect to become the preferred candidate for this attractive position. Give it your all!

Game overview
The Zoo Tycoon board game is played over 7 rounds (years). Each round is divided into 4 seasons (except for Round 1, which begins in summer). In the spring, when the year begins, babies are born. In the summer, new animals are adopted. In the fall, new enclosures are built, and in the winter, the year is decommissioned and the year ends.

Animals
The 23 main species in the game are represented by animal cards and animal figures. On the animal card you will find all the important information about the species.
