Assassin's Creed Syndicate will take place in Victorian London in the 19th century. Specifically, in its second half - at the height of the Industrial Revolution, a period full of incredible invention that would transform the lives of millions of people. At this time, the gap between the poor and the rich was rapidly widening, and the lives of ordinary workers were becoming more like legal slavery. The lowest classes of society thus formed a new kind of family - gangs - as part of the struggle for survival and adapted to life in the underworld. Players will take on the roles of Jacob and Evie Frye, assassin twins raised to follow the Code.

Jacob, a determined, hot-blooded and unbridled leader of an underworld gang, is significantly different from his sister Evie, a master of concealment and manipulation. Evie is supposed to make up 25 percent of the storyline and it will be possible to switch between the two actors at will when you are not completing a mission. Jacob Frye and his sister will have the task of resurrecting the Brotherhood and expelling the Templars from the throne of domination.
