Kemono are the embodiment of the power of nature. Over time, these giant beasts have merged with the elements and shape their environment to suit their needs. How can ordinary humans hope to defeat such enormous enemies? It will take courage, cunning, and great skill. Survive their attacks, learn from their behavior, and use your Karakuri and weapons to cut these creatures to pieces.

CREATE YOUR HUNTING GROUND
You are the only one in Azuma who can master Karakuri technology. This ancient technology allows you to adapt the environment into a creative hunting ground, ideal for taking down giant Kemono. Stock up on materials to craft many types of Karakuri depending on your needs, skills, and which Kemono you are fighting. Use them to explore, defend yourself and your hunting partners, and gain the upper hand in battle.

HUNTING IN A GROUP OR ALONE
Some people enjoy the thrill of the hunt best alone. But even the deadliest hunter can encounter a creature they can’t defeat without help. In WILD HEARTS, you can team up with up to two friends (or other players) through Hunters Gates to track and hunt your prey together. Hunting in a group allows you to expand your combat options and complete special missions.

ARM YOURSELF
The more you hunt, the better you become. Create your character, collect materials from each hunt, and craft a range of armor and weapons to take down even bigger beasts. Choose from eight different melee and ranged weapons (like the Karakuri katana or wagasa) to suit your playstyle. Craft equipment from fallen Kemono and customize it to your liking. As you progress through the game, your equipment will become better and you will be able to defeat larger enemies.

FANTASY FEUDAL JAPAN
Immerse yourself in a beautiful setting filled with buildings that symbolize everyday village life, faith, and war, now swallowed up by nature. Explore four hunting regions based on the seasons – each region has its own beautiful landscapes and dangers. Venture through the hills surrounding a cherry blossom tree, to an island with a waterfall, to a war-torn fortress covered in autumn leaves, and to an old castle destroyed by a beast trapped in a frozen lake. The chaos caused by the restless Kemono will affect the seasons in unexpected ways, making your hunt even more challenging – until you reach the final hunting ground.
