Alamo Fort

This fort is famous for the battle that took place here in 1836 during which Texas seceded from Mexico. The Battle of the Alamo is a symbol of the Texas Revolution. All the defenders of the Alamo died defending it. 182–257 Americans and 400 to 600 Mexicans died in the battle. This structure is now one of the most visited in Texas.
